[20130514][RTMixManager™]Looking for a real functioning game booster? Get one here!
old thread here

first of all, READ until you understand everything before you continue!
the script basically does everything for you

What does it do?
-manages ram, DUH

How do i apply?
-delete ANY OTHER SCRIPTS IN YOUR INIT.D FOLDER before you continue.
-you must have cwm recovery that supports wipe init.d or nandroid backup.

1.first download busybox from stericsonhere and install busybox.
2.next, download smanager here.
3. download the script(its not a real pdf file) and run it via smanager.
4. follow the instructions what the script says, and it'll all be okay!
-=init.d method now supports stock kernels=-

some android devices may not support this loop script, and the preferred method to run this wonderful script is to:
CHOOSE THE XBIN MODE!

-to run manually(after you installed it as xbin mode):
1.open up terminal emulator(i dont recommend smanager cause it doesnt work with ampersand.)
2.type su and enter
3.type rtmixman and enter
4.leave it running in the background.
5.done!

How to check if it works?
original installation directory:

for init.d:
Code:
/system/etc/init.d/SS99RTMixManager
/system/etc/usrsettings
/system/etc/readme.html
for xbin:
Code:
/system/xbin/rtmixman
/system/etc/usrsettings
/system/etc/readme.html
check if there are any one of these files that contains loads of blah blah, and you'll be fine

p.s. if you want more power, head down to usrsettings!, usrsettings also come in handy if the engine settings doesnt like your device performance!
for those of you who dont know where the usrsettings file located in, its inside /system/etc/ directory!(directory changed from older versions)

IMPORTANT! if you have bricked your device after reboot, download the RTMixManager_Rescue_Zip_CWM.zip below and flash!
-this will return your rom's status into right before you install this script.

to integrate my work on your work(ROM, SCRIPT, etc..)
- install this script on your system
-copy this:
Code:
/system/etc/init.d/SS99RTMixManager
/system/etc/usrsettings
/system/etc/readme.html
(engine directory depends whether you have chosen init.d or xbin mode)
-put it in your rom.
-THE END, PERIOD.

-one more, don't forget to give the dev(me) a proper credit(you must put the link to this thread too.)

extra!
usrsettings guide
Quote:
brief usrsettings information
================================================
first,

NOTE: do NOT set any invalid values in usrsettings.
NOTE2: do NOT set 0 on interval types of values.
reminder: values are applied in realtime.

settings currently available(may differ if its not a full mode.)

rsb_refresh_sec_interval
-it sets rsb engine to cycle every 'n' seconds.
-recommended to increase this value to save more battery.
-decreasing down value is limited to 1.
-default value is 4.

core_refresh_sec_interval
-it sets core engine to cycle every 'n' seconds.
-recommended to leave this value default since it regenerates processes realtime.
-decreasing down value is limited to 1.
-default value is 4.

core_minfree_limiter_strength
-this one sets core engine aggressivity.
-it has 3 options:
0)multitasking(bit risky)
1)balance(not yet solved)
2)performance(lags may occur)
-default value is 1.

mpe9x_refresh_sec_interval
-it sets mpe9x engine to cycle every 'n' seconds.
-this one is also associated with the engine aggressivity.
-recommended to increase this value to save more battery.
-decreasing down value is limited to 2.
-default value is 4.

half_registered_ram_interval
-it sets a limit of division by 'n' on realtime cachesize and freememory percentage.
-recommended to increase this value to save more battery.
-decreasing down value is limited to 1.
-default value is 6.

quarter_registered_ram_interval
-it sets a limit of division by 'n' on calculated half_registered_ram_interval percentage.
-recommended to decrease this value to flush harder only when needed.
-decreasing down value is limited to 1.
-default value is 2.

enable_flush_timing
-this one multiplies mpe9x_refresh_sec_interval by 2 internally.
-it enables the dedicated engine to act like a conservative governor.
-but there was some known problems that slowing down timing may lead to unintended lags,
-and more battery consumption.
-recommended to leave this value default(off).
-default value is 0.
all the information that you need to know are included in readme.html!
